The design of this vernacular, linear house with multiple levels is inspired by the client's desire for an open plan that still provides adequate privacy. The house is designed to be a beautiful and functional living space for a Spinster.
The multiple levels in the house help to define the various spaces in the house. The lower houses the common spaces, including the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The living room is spacious, with large windows that let in natural light and provide a stunning view of the surrounding vegetation. The dining area is located adjacent to the kitchen, making it easy to entertain guests while preparing meals.
The second level houses the study and library, providing the client with a peaceful and quiet space to read and work. The study is designed to be spacious and well-lit, with large windows that provide natural light and offer a beautiful view of the surrounding vegetation. The library is equipped with bookshelves, providing ample space to store the client's extensive collection of books.
